When interacting with the media, it is important to set expectations for behavior during the interaction as well as guidelines for releasing information. You should take the rules within this template and adapt them to cover your unit or installation-unique scenarios.

Members of the media are expected to adhere to these ground rules at all times and will be required to acknowledge their understanding with a signature. Ensure that either hard or digital copies are distributed to the media and that signed copies are properly recorded.
