SUBJECT: COMMANDER’S INTENT
FROM: COLONEL JANE DOE, ABC BASE COMMANDER
It has come to my attention that the number of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) offenses are on the rise, both on our base and in the surrounding area. My mission is to provide a safe community for all of our residents, employees and guests to maintain our operational status and outstanding reputation. Drinking and driving poses a serious safety risk to all of us.
By December, I want DUI offenses reduced by 25% relative to the rest of the year. Together, we must create a culture that does not tolerate drinking and driving and supports responsible drinking. Educate yourself and others on the benefits of responsible drinking and the consequences of irresponsible behavior. Promote and encourage alternative activities to drinking.
Together we can succeed in reducing the number of DUIs and increase the habit of responsible drinking.
