Designed and implemented as a learning tool for fleet and field, PAVILION expands the DINFOS mission to train and sustain professional communicators for the Department of Defense and its partners, no matter their mission or experience.

PAVILION will meet the demand for resources that cover a full range of subjects and tasks by engaging the entire DoD community as participants and owners. PAVILION will utilize the collective expertise and knowledge base through active involvement.

PAVILION Connects You to Resources

Resources are curated, developed and pulled from training courses, fleet and field and industry as well as crowd sourced from the DoD community of users. To maintain the highest levels of integrity, resources are thoroughly vetted and undergo an extensive review process. Subject matter experts from the schoolhouse, fleet and field and a governance board ensure that resources meet the highest criteria of value and accuracy.

As priorities, strategies and technology shift and grow, PAVILION will expand and pivot to meet the need.

About DINFOS

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) is a component of the DoD’s Defense Media Activity. This nationally accredited school trains members of the United States military, select DoD civilians and international military personnel. Subjects include public affairs, print journalism, photography, video production, various forms of graphic design and digital media, broadcast journalism and broadcast equipment maintenance.
